Sensory tip of the day- by Angie Voss, OTR "Understanding your child's sensory signals"

***Sensory Tip of the Day!*** Sensory kids are little co-regulating sponges. They sense and "absorb" the energy around them to a much greater extent than you might think. Become acutely aware of YOUR state of regulation... 1. stress level 2. tone of voice 3. volume and speed of your voice 4. your state of mind (are you truly present in the moment?) 5. your breathing patterns All of these and many more can create anxiety and/or dysregulation for your child. Learn more at my very first online sensory coaching session! ~Angie Voss, OTR http://asensorylife.com/sensory-coaching-for-parents-and-caregivers.html

This is great information- and so true in my son's case! Co Regulating sponges in deed!
