So here is the finished project: My small kitchen island with storage built using an old black Ikea table desk with added repurposed fence boards...... and creativity! waa laa not bad!

And for the second project: created, designed and utilized by my 9 yo. Took him 7 hours yesterday and now he has a really cool hideaway complete with shelves for flowers in the front and lock for the door. How cool is this fort!!!!!
He's proud of it. I'm proud of him.
