Major brain re-set

After a very very very very very very long evening last night (did I mention it was very long)

because of grand mal meltdown

I think it all hit him at once and there was no stopping it

it was exhausting, it was tiring, and as much as Gretchen did help, he just had to get it out

we call this a brain re-set

it went on for about 2 hours total- because just when we think things are better

the tiniest of tiny something would happen and set him off all over again

anyway- was glad when that night was OVER -= it wipes us all out

and then of course today we do this:

A special birthday trip to Target for Ty to spend birthday money he got early- (it's our first time to Target in probably over a year, except the one time during Team Training with CCI..in May. we weren't in a hurry, so it allowed him to change his mind about 100 times before finally settling on a nerf toy- we came home, he climbed into my bed and fell asleep! That is success!It's not easy going out in the world- that is for sure!

Let's just see how the rest of the day goes

I'm a little nervous after last night- but that was what he needed

the big giant brain re=set that is full of crying, emotions, anger, sadness, everything balled into one!

so hopefully today is the fresh start!
